houdini 10 released today

There's a thread a little back about hi res smoke sim
In the last of the demo videos of Houdini 10 they talk about upping the res as a post process.
Is it the same?

Help! How to solve these particles?

Hi
I'm always noticing this. I also get this layer of particles on the bottom of my containers. Having the resolution up does not let it screwing up the mesh.

different resolutions

Hi guys I am thinking about something. I've tried it, but am not sure about the results. So, generally, would there be a problem if I rest a fluid in some container and then pour another one into it. A one with much higher resolution I mean. For example the initially present fluid is 250k particles ...

Interesting result...

Here it is:

I don't think it could have practical use also. It's just some nice and unexpected result I wanted to share, so I don't mind sharing the scene. I'd like to hear opinions of the reason. And if someone uses it somehow, let us know. :)
How can I upload it directly into a post?

Interesting result...

Hi all
I was just playing around, adding couple of daemons and this came up:

Note that those are not droplets or bubbles, but completely flat "slices" of fluid.

Liquid

Luke, sorry for contradicting, but what I'm seeing here is just too high relaxation filtering being set. I don't even think it takes a lot of resolution to get these...
:) Correct me if I'm wrong!
