Re: Dspline to get a ribbon

I got quiet a good solution for this issue for the DSpline using a Dyverso Spline emitter linked to a DSpline, with quiet high values for the speed of the emitter and the Axial and Radial Strength of the DSpline. The fluid is not rounded anymore and I'm using a noise daemon to break it a little bit ...

Re: Dspline to get a ribbon

Surface tension was the key value for this pro lema tic splash and as I couldn’t get the proper trendils running I finished sculpting the shape... this mean simulating and activating and desactivating daemons along the timeline. The good is that I go a pretty decent pericles animation to be meshed b...

Re: Dspline to get a ribbon

Thank you, your comments are helpful. I’ll give it a go and will let you know how it goes. Correct me if i’m wrong but the pre-shaped object to be filled shouldn’t be an option because I want the splash to finish colliding with the ground (the idea comes from a chocolate wave effect more than just t...

Re: Dspline to get a ribbon

Alright... set now. Thank you very much.. now I have now the proper flow for the Dspline effect wit much more control over the fluid. Nice one. Would you mind checking this tread, cant find a nice solution for it. http://www.realflowforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=11474 I have tried replicating t...

Re: Lack of "Frame Offset" for the Cache

Im not using CUDA this time... but It helped adding a K Daemon for the highest speed particles so the sheeter doesnt crash anymore.

Re: Dspline to get a ribbon

Ok, so it is working now... The right attribute for the filter daemon is Density.. .as the density on the edge of the flow is lower than the one holded by the particles close to the spline path. Here theres a screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/svvenxw38yt1jpu/Capture.JPG?dl=0 One more question......

Re: Dspline to get a ribbon

The reason Im trying this filter workflow is because I want to create tedrils and drops coming out the original ribbon flow (becasuse is to connected to the spline)... and not everywhere but ocasionally. Im trying the neighbours filter option as it looks like it is the only one that is giving me som...

Re: Dspline to get a ribbon

That is clever... generating new particles using the filter daemon. Im not sure which value of the list from the filter I should use, but for now Im using the "Number of Neighbors" and it seems it's starting to work. Still on development anyway. I have a couple of doubts. Should I use a di...
