Hey, In this particular case the scale just so happened to be .5 this isn't every time though. I shot some video first to get an idea of how the liquid would swirl, mix, react against the surface of the glass, using the scale just got me in the ballpark very quickly. No magical numbers just a trial ...

Thanks Gunes, I don't have the scene settings anymore but from memory I just used reference from red wine, oranges juice with high pulp and corn syurp. The orange juice was around 10 where corn syurp was slightly lower and the wine was around 1. I did have to play with scene scale for a bit and adju...

Another idea, since it's a still is to just comp in the foam and splash/foam/spray. You've already got a lot of good reference that you can pull from and if you need control this can be extremely fast. I'd just grade those elements to fit into your scene. Hey, I just finished a shot like this a few months ago, I would highly recommend RF5 and the sheeter daemon for this, although I know your posting in the RF4 section. If you have access to RF5 I can go through it more if your task is animation, otherwise sculpting is your best bet for a still. B
