Re: Particals Sticking to moving object.

Okay, What exactly is it you are trying to do? Without knowing that, it's hard to help. Here's a script that will cover the mesh of an object in particles, but like CZ said, they won't flow off or look like a fluid at all. #Enter emitter name. emitterName = "Circle01" #-------------------...

Re: Convert bin mesh into editable poly/mesh

It seems like that. 3dsMax can't import an OBJ sequence and doesn't support .abc until 2016 (The other formats realflow supports exporting). The best thing I can do is do a poly edit in animation mode and move the poly for one frame, but the next fame I have to send it back using the last keyframe i...

Convert bin mesh into editable poly/mesh

What I want to do is delete some stray particles that were made into meshes during the mesh process realflow in 3ds Max, so I convert the imported bin mesh into an editable mesh and get rid of some stray mesh blobs by getting rid of the polygons on the frame that I don't want them. But when I do thi...

Re: Fluids expand after pausing simulation

Realflow 2015, and I just visually gauge when the object is filled up and stop the emitter. Note that it consistently happens over and over and doesn't just explode once, even it I don't change anything or try to add volume again. It's every time I pause and resume a simulation, to the point where h...

Fluids expand after pausing simulation

I keep having this issue that's really goofing up a lot of my simulations. I am filling up an object with liquid emitter, once the object is full I will pause the simulation and turn the emitter off, I resume the simulation to let the particles settle, but as soon as I resume all of the particles su...

Re: Particals Sticking to moving object.

Doesn't seem like I can edit my post? Anyway just to be super clear, I only used the Morph Daemon while the object was in motion, as soon as it stopped if it left it on the particals would go haywire. All I did was disable it at the point the object was no longer moving, and everything flowed down t...

Re: Particals Sticking to moving object.

Good news! I was able to find something that was almost exactly what I wanted. I used the morph daemon the object and emitter and the particles stick there and still drip down while the character model moves. Sticky, friction and roughness weren't doing very much for me after over 10 sim of differen...

Re: Particals Sticking to moving object.

Thanks, I'll keep pumping them up and give 2013 a try today.

Worst case scenario, is there another program that is designed to do something like this?

Re: Particals Sticking to moving object.

For the screenshot I posted about here is the context and what I am trying to achive: Fluid (Or paint for the final render) falls on the character models head while it is looking up. I used a circle emitter to simulate the paint falling. The end result is in the first screenshot. After this the char...

Re: Particals Sticking to moving object.

The roughness seems like it had already been set at 1.0 (Which is the highest correct?) I would really like to keep my current fluid without having to re-simulate it as I really like the shape it has formed over my object. Is this really impossible? Even if i could freeze the partials for a few fram...
