C4d R13 and RF2012
I have had the chance to do one quick test run last night, just brief. But are we able to finally get materials mapped correctly to the surface mesh in C4d? It was never possible in the past, and I kinda gave up on hoping it would ever happen. I guess I should be more specific, on having two emitter...

C4d R13 and RF2012
Yeah I just pulled it over a bit ago, have yet to try anything. I have been just fascinated with the speed of the passes now. The Piano Strings physical render example is just damn amazing to look at! It's fun to dig up some old models to see how quickly they render, now I just need a 12 or 16 core,...

C4d R13 and RF2012
I am loving the speed in C4d R13 and I hope to try and get some tests with both programs soon... when I have time. I am just excited, and it's been a while since I felt like that.
Now all I need is to completely update my computers!

Contest 2009?
Maxwell is fine, but as long as you have the processing power to slam out a large accurate scene, I think it be demanding to finish a render on most peoples machines if they do not have a farm. I like using Maxwell, but it just takes a lot longer to get the quality. Besides with the new render in C4...

Snow Leopard and RF
NO issue at all with upgrading. I was prepared with a clone of my drive in case multiple programs were not compatible, but that seems to not be the case. The upgrade actually improved some issues I was having with Leopard for some time... weird

liquid metal to solid metal
I did something similar a while back, but had the liquid metal pour into a mould and then had the final object finished in my 3d platform. But after the fluid pours in then all I did was have a cylinder drive a plate down over the mould and then open to reveal the finished piece. No scripting needed...
