Liquid Film Formation

one thing Ive noticed in my work in RF is that the fluid general has a "mercury" feel to it. I think this has a lot to do with the factory settings but is also affected the way the solver was built. RF was created to simulate water physics, and because of this the particles in realflow are always in...

creating explosion

check it http://www.realflowforum.com/view_topic.php?id=1343 i have been working on fire sims in realflow and have actually gotten some interesting looking explosion effects. I recently added a script (in maya) that shaded the colors of the particles to a "hot white" at a certain pressure/velocity.

Luma Pictures is looking for RealFlow Artists

hey i met the Luma guys at the VFXtalk.com user group meeting. These guys are really easy going and I would have loved to take them up on this offer but my degree is right around the corner in December so that is taking priority.

Good luck y'all!

I updated his plug-ins, re-created a scene and used all 4 prefix settings within the export central the node is loaded but it wont bring the particles or mesh in. also- the directory that t...

WIP - Floyd Bishop/Bishop Animation

This is where the thread is going to get wierd---- When i pee on walls (at parties) i can definately tell where ive peed so id suggest a wetmap for the object texture. also...

Howto? Fill a container

also-
Waynes set up is with an insane amount of resolution. always test your scene multiple times with no mesh and low res to see if you get what your looking for.

Howto? Fill a container

also you may want to check your sim sub steps min/max values. You might be simming frames that have little to no difference between them
