Reset particle velocity in XYZ

Hello! I was wondering, how should I do a scene where the initial state has no particle velocities. Like if I made a clean surface, I would like to see min to max 0.0 values in particle velocity statistics not the freeze transformation way. I tried to write a code, but somehow, this is not working. ...

3 colored emitter in the viewport

Hello! I was wondering, can I use somehow 3 color value from emitter particle velocity, instead of 2? I mean we have the option for min and max, and can we did it with 3 color? I don't want to build a mesh around it, just the particles, to something like in the attachment. I made a python script for...

Re: Detection particle collision with an object

thanks chrispan! I have done it that way, and it worked! It is a little bit slower but much easier method. I think the filter daemon is a really awesome feature, but it would be better, if the colliding objects could be selected.

Re: Detection particle collision with an object

thanks bolek. I watched all of the sources you gave. I would like to use filter daemon, because of the simulation speed. I attached a sample file, when I get the problem. I use two filters. First one is particle collide, and the other one is a posY filter, to send back the particles which is collide...

Re: Detection particle collision with an object

I tried it, but I had problems. The whole project is going on inside a cube. Therefore, the particles will collide with the inside parts of the cube. I tried to make exemtions with many filter daemon to this way: 1. Filter - On particle collision from the Square to the Container 2. Filter - If the p...

Detection particle collision with an object

Hello! I am currently working on a scene, where I would like to separate the particles, which is collide with an object, and I would like to ask your help. I have a Square emitter, and a Container and an object which is moving. When the Square emitter particle collide with the object, transfer it to...

Re: export particle data in a specifieid range

Thank You for fast reply! I will check it. I made it this way: Square emitter + Container 4 filter daemon for In range X in the wanted ranges to Container, and 4 other filter daemon for the rest, to send back the other datas to the Square emitter. And I choose only the Container particle data as exp...

export particle data in a specifieid range

Hy! I'm currently making a export python, where all the particle data (id, x,y,z position) are sended out. I don't need all the particles to export, only just between ranges. Like when x is between 1 and 2. I have to make 4 ranges. so like: if the particle is between 1-2 or 4-5 or 6-7 or 9-10 then w...

Re: Best way of relaxation

Yes, I forgot to clear that, filling an object is the main task. I used this method, and also did it with a k Volume, on the top of the surface, to delete the unwanted waves. I would like to create script for that, and maybe this method is better. 1. bottom emitter low speed 2. when the highest part...

Best way of relaxation

Hello! I am currently doing a project where the fluid should be relaxed. I saw some examples about this process, but I would like to know, what is Your opinion about the best way of relaxation. 1. Drag force + k Speed restrictions to speed up the whole process and after delete/inactivate them. 2. "W...
