Re: Whole fluid domain is affected by second sim.

It helps a lot to introduce a drag daemon and to have internal and external pressure=1 in the water domain. Then let the water settle until it is completely calm before starting the bubbles. Also increase the damping parameter in the water domain to something like 10.

Re: Nuclear Water blast

Hi ! Well, I think the easiest method is the one I have used for this video: https://youtu.be/p9E68QRSCWw In this case I have prepared a certain amount of water (the blue particles) sitting inside a box. Then I used a second emitter from under the water surface to emit particles for a limited time a...

Re: RealWave issue

So I have run this file with the latest RF10 standard and it looks good. There were no noise or jump-like waves observed here.
Now you can make the waves higher and do other additions, I think.

Re: RealWave issue

I haven't opened the files, just wanted to mention the Damping parameter that has a big influence on these small rapid waves (noise) in realwave simulations in general.

Re: Do you use Maxwell in Realflow for Renders?

Hi Forester,

I have used it a couple of times for stills, but because I am mainly doing animations it is more time-efficient for me to export the data and render with other rendering engines in a 3D package where I combine the meshes and particles with other elements of the project.

Re: Modeling earthquake within solid strata in realflow

The fracturing functions in RealFlow is a feature that I have almost never used so far... not because it would not work, but simply because I have already similar functionality in my larger 3D software packages (Cinema4D and Maya). So, the advantage of realflow in this case is the integration with f...

Re: How to make realistic scene with object drop down into the water with the Hybrido?

Hi RF10 comes with a number of ready-made projects that can be found in the "learn" section of the open projects window. The scene "Hybrido_Bubbles" is the one for you. It shows a rocket falling into a closed hybrido tank. You just have to add a mesh for the hybrido domain and a ...
