Hi

in the collider tag settings there is "collision distance". Try to reduce that. It might also be needed to work with higher resolution in the "fluid" settings.

Hi

if you work with an imported mesh in Cinema4D with the standard render engine, just use the absorption option with a smaller value so that the thinner parts of the object become lighter and thicker ones dark (see screenshot).

yes, the attachments are all full here. Use a free upload-site such as http://tinypic.com or a file sharing service such as dropbox or similar.

Maybe you can share the project file? (not if it is from the demo of RF10 because that cannot be opened by the standard version...)

Yes, this is a Hybrido issue.
Dyverso in RF10 is a very efficient GPU-enhanced engine with CUDA-cards, even on the Mac. Standard particles have no acceleration by the GPU.

Hi this question can be answered only by somebody familiar with the code. Nevertheless, I made similar experience with a larger number of threads (dual 8 core) in earlier versions of RF with hybrido. At the end of the day the efficacy of the use of multiple cores rapidly drops after 8 cores or so. I...

Hi

unfortunately, this option is not part of the filter daemon and also not available as a direct function in scripting. You would need a script looking at the distance of particles but not as collision event, I assume.

I have tried several mesh types with particle sources here in RF10, but it is always possible to change the radius. Maybe you could upload the project file or a screenshot?
