Re: Waterline magazine brings splashes and tendrils

Re: RealFlow For Maya 1 Cache Playback Issue

Hi

I don't have the Maya plugin, but I would say if you have already excluded the obvious reasons for this problem (path settings, valid cache files, file access), it is a bug and the only way to fix it is to report at Nextlimit and maybe they will provide a fix soon.

Re: 2 Fluids Blending in 3Dmax

Hi

this used to be relatively easy using the melt material/shader for MentalRay. Now, I could tell you only for Cinema4D, but I don't think there is a direct solution using the RF connection plugin for 3dsmax or Maya now: https://forum.realflow.com/viewtopic.php?t=3011

Re: Export RealFlow C4D to Element 3D

Could this method be useful for your purpose? Not sure if it applies to RFC4D though.

Re: Export RealFlow C4D to Element 3D

Yes, this is a problem. You find other posts here on the forum about merging abc-files with the standalone version of RF, but that is not an option for RFC4D-users. I have never tried this type of export to AfterEffects and I don't know if the are other options of baking the animation and exporting ...

Re: Hybrido Mesh crashing - PLEASE HELP!!

Hi Adam, that is great news that you have found the culprit for the crashes! That might be a useful information for other people using Hybrido. Maybe send a bug report to Nextlimit? The newer method VDB-mesh is definitely faster. I assume that vorticity has to be activated in the particle channel in...

Re: Hybrido Mesh crashing - PLEASE HELP!!

Hi

I can confirm that the scene indeed crashes at the mesh-making step. I have tried to remove the filter settings of the mesh, but it still crashes. Maybe, a different type of mesh has to be used?

Maybe try the older non-VDB hybridoMesh. It is slower, but does not crash so easy here.

Re: Export RealFlow C4D to Element 3D

Hi that may not be possible directly inside cinema. I see the problem here, that each mesh or particle file that is shown in the viewport is actually a new one for each step in the timeline. So, if you try to export, Cinema (and Riptide) might see only one file. What works here is caching the RFC4D ...

Re: Dyverso Sim using ALL CPU's no mater how many I set?

Hi I have not heard of that issue so far. Maybe it is best to contact tech support at Nextlimit for any advice on that. Usually, people rather complain about a software that is not using all of the CPUs they have... myself, for example, have never seen that a version of RealFlow has used all of the ...
