Re: alembic particle export / doesn't show up in c4d

Unless you use RF-for-C4D. This also reads abc-file sequences in the use-cache mode.

By the way, the stitching function often crashes here... does it work well for you in RF10?

Re: Hybrido export do i need RPC and VDB? both?

Hi

you don't need VDB.
Having said that... hybrido is writing so much data that leaving away one or two elements does not save you a lot of space overall. Better dedicate an entire multi-terabytes hard disc for this purpose....

Re: Unable to use arrows in viewport

Hmm, don't know what it is going on with your mouse. Sometimes I forget to activate the split viewport before clicking, but in your case it might be something with the type/driver of your input device....?

Re: Realflow Pouring Water HELP

Hi I think you have accidentally chosen a rather difficult project as one of your first projects with RealFlow :) It looks so easy in real life, but is challenging for simulation software, especially because of the moving container. At least one of the first problem you have already successfully mas...

....or simply move the attractors with keyframes. With expressions you could add sinus wave-movement of attractors.

Re: Fill object trhough DSPLINE... is it possible?

If the body of the object should appear completely solid without splashing around inside, you could also just use an object or texture emitter and emit particles from the surface of the object.

Re: Particels stop for a view frames

Hi so, if I get you correctly, the exactly same frame is rendered several times? Maybe it is a bug. RFC4D version is now at 2.5.2.0075 Maybe there is a mismatch between the setting "fps" between your project (in the project preferences of Cinema4d) and your render settings? But I don't kno...

Re: Fill object trhough DSPLINE... is it possible?

Yes, that is the idea. Although I have not done longer animations. It also depends if you animated body should keep the fluid in a perfect way or more like emitting along the way, which may be more interesting after all.

Re: Fill object trhough DSPLINE... is it possible?

Maybe there is a method using scripting?
As I know very well how to do such an animation in my 3D program, I always export the motion to RF for the fluid simulation.

Re: Fill object trhough DSPLINE... is it possible?

To let an object follow a dspline in RF standalone... I don't think it is possible. What I have done several times: animate the SD geometry by letting objects follow spline paths in my 3D application (Cinema4D) and then export this as animated SD file. Alternatively you can create a spline in a vect...
