Re: Liquid through the bottle

Yes, the object needs to have a certain size compared to the liquid-emitter and its resolution, otherwise it is very difficult to get it tight. Additionally, we are dealing here with a grid-based system (Dyverso), so the collider needs a certain thickness. If this does not help it might be necessary...

Re: How to set up this simple fountain?

Found a useful example video on youtube with different fountain types. It all depends on your nozzle.

Re: scene save problem in maya after importing rf bin particles

Hi
what do you mean by "it does not save". Does it crash?

Maybe it is best to ask Nextlimit support about this because they see all kind of possible problems. Also please mention the version of Maya and RealFlow you are using. The plugins for Maya2018 were released only recently.

Re: Meshing Problems

Ok, that is good to hear.

If this happens in the latest version of RF you could also send a bug report to nextlimit.

Re: Meshing Problems

Hi
in my experience, meshing rarely makes the software crash.
It could also be that you are running out of resources during the process. Is there enough Ram and hard disc space?
Maybe try once to do the meshing in the command line (set particle sources to cache, use the mesh argument).

Re: How to set up this simple fountain?

Allright, I tried a couple of more variants of the pond fountain with foam and, although there are endless variants possible, I am working now with this version. https://youtu.be/Da4xtUwmGGk Thanks to an animated drag daemon from the top, more naturalistic randomization happens at the point where th...

Nextlimit Christmas Challenge

See the website:
http://www.nextlimit.com/christmas-challenge/

Use either RealFlow to produce a 5 sec (at least) video, or Maxwellrender with multi-light. There will be two winners, one for each software.

Re: Is there a way to tell what version of Maxwell comes with Realflow?

Hi

I don't know. But... does it really matter? If you would like to know what Maxwell can do, best would be to download the demo at the Maxwellrender website.

Re: How to set up this simple fountain?

Sure, I will share the parameters....only I have already changed them again in order to make the top bigger and more splashy. There will be a final version, but also endless variations.
