Re: Black Friday to Cyber Monday 50%

Cool! I may finally be able to buy a real license. Only problem is, the prices are all in Euros, so its more expensive than I first thought. The price in US dollars is about 471.

That's still a lot but it's doable. I'll have to see if I can spare that kind of money during the holidays.

Re: Melting an Animated fill object

You actually may be able to use the Fill Emitter, there's just a extra step you need to take. You have to import the object twice. Once as a still object that you use with the Fill Emitter to generate the particles, then again as the animated object via the SD file. Use the relationship editor so th...

Re: new patch for RF10

Hey TSN,

Is there a list of the changes in the new version? I'd be interested to see it.

Re: shaped splash disintegrate into droplets

Never tried anything like this, but one idea that comes to mind is use the Surface Tension daemon and crank it up very fast to a very high level. That may cause the liquid in the air to collapse into drops. No idea if this will work, but that's the first thing that comes do mind.

Good Luck,

Re: Chocolate and Milk

Also, you might want to try the Sheeter Demon. I should have thought of that sooner.

Re: A Sticky Tip!

Just FYI: The sticky parameter was actually never meant to make particles really stick on an object's surface. WHAT! It's a good thing I didn't know that, else I would have given up a long time ago! Anyway, here's a small clip I just finished to show you what I was looking for and how...

A Sticky Tip!

Hey everybody, I just made an important discovery and I wanted to share. For a long while now, I've been trying to make the Sticky function truly sticky. I wanted the particles to really really stick to the geometry. Let's say you've got a really sticky substance like tar, or if you dunk your hand i...

Re: Chocolate and Milk

You don't necessarily need to use D-Spline no, but it can't hurt either. Also, try cranking up the Surface Tension and see if the fluids flow together better.

Good luck!
