Re: soft body on animated meshes(or parts of it)
I may be wrong, but I don't think you can do that. If you want to fins to be soft bodies and collide with objects the floor or rocks or something, then you should do that in your 3D software and not in Real Flow. Once you activate soft bodies in RF, it would make the fish or whatever object you're u...

Re: How to mesh an geometric shape for alembic exporting
Okay, I'm not sure what you're trying to do here, so... You've got a cube and statue object in Real Flow and you used Real Wave to create the ocean effect, yes? If yes, then any problems you're having with the ocean interacting with your object should be happening in Real Flow. If it works in Real F...

Re: How to mesh an geometric shape for alembic exporting
Hit the F12 button (Export Central) and under the pedestal and statue object properties, select Alembic so the geometry is exported along with the ocean mesh.

Re: Holding object shape while animated?
Yes, sorry I forgot to mention that. Having the object you use with the Fill Emitter should be a still object, and make sure the domain is not connected to this object so the particles do not interact with it. You only need it to do the fill.

Re: Holding object shape while animated?
Actually, you want to load the object twice. The first object will be used by the fill emitter to generate the particles in the proper place. The second object will be set to "Solid Outside". This is the object that will interact with the particles and make them move inside as the object a...

Re: Liquid through the bottle
Set your geometry scale to .5 or 1.0 and see that makes a difference. The polygons of the bottle are too small for the particles to interact with so they simply pass right through.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: Black Friday to Cyber Monday 50%
Cool! I may finally be able to buy a real license. Only problem is, the prices are all in Euros, so its more expensive than I first thought. The price in US dollars is about 471.
That's still a lot but it's doable. I'll have to see if I can spare that kind of money during the holidays.

Re: Melting an Animated fill object
You actually may be able to use the Fill Emitter, there's just a extra step you need to take. You have to import the object twice. Once as a still object that you use with the Fill Emitter to generate the particles, then again as the animated object via the SD file. Use the relationship editor so th...
