Re: object crashing through body of water

Looks like Real Flow could do it. You'd have to increase the frame rate considerably. Real Flow, I think, defaults to 30 frames per second, so I guess it would depend on how slow you wanted it to be. Also, for something as slow as the You Tube clip, you'd also need to increase the Substeps (number o...

Re: Particle Selection Tool

Thanks Forester,

I'll look into using the Kill_Volumes to help, but nothing beats the ability to see a stray particles, select it, and then simply delete it so not only is it gone from that frame, but it rids it from the frames to come while simulating. :(

Particle Selection Tool

Hey everybody, Is there a way to use the Particle Selection tool to select some Dyverso particles and delete them, then saving the changes to the BIN file? I'm able to do this with Standard Particles by creating a small script, but I can't even active the particle selection tool when I'm using Dyver...

Re: Mesh is too thick

One thing you can do is try turning on Filtering and play with the settings. That can reduce the overall size and volume of the mesh.

Good luck,

Re: RF10

I tried to use the command line recently. I wanted it to start at frame 50, and set it accordingly, but it seemed to ignore the cashed BIN files and started with the emitter at zero particles. :?

Yeah, that does look great!!!! :D

Could you write up a detailed tutorial on how you did that? Please!

Re: Viscous Liquid Interaction

Also up the Roughness parameter some. It will make so the simulation does not see the spoon as smooth so the particles will stick to it better.

Good Luck,

Re: How to make bubble in water fluid?

That is a good question. I suspect it starts with a second emitter and having the particles mixed in together as they flow. Obviously, there would be fewer of the "air" particles. When its time to create the mesh, only generate geometry for the "fluid" particles, which will leave...
