Building Meshes But Not From Frame 0?

Hey guys, Thanks for the responses. bitSeq... I am sorry but I do not understand your response. Also, I am using a Mac so I am not using if a realflow.exe command would be appropriate. bubs... I have tried just selecting my start frame in the timeline and then hitting the build meshes command but it...

Building Meshes But Not From Frame 0?

Hey guys, Each time I hit the build meshes button it starts at frame 0 and works it's way up the timeline. Is it possible to start realflow building meshes further up the timeline, from say frame 300+ without having to manually go in and build meshes on each individual frame via the submenu in the n...

Exporting Particle Simulations And Meshes Separately?

Thanks I think I am understanding this now. Testing it at the moment. I turned my first emitter to inactive once it had simulated, reset the simulation and then started simulating the second emitter. When I stop and scrub the timeline the particles from the first emitter appear to display also, but ...

Exporting Particle Simulations And Meshes Separately?

Ah cool... Sorry for the dumb questions but after simulating one emitter and then resetting the simulation, do I just uncheck the emitter in the export central so that it does not overwrite anything? Also, say I create the particles but not the mesh right away and then reset everything, can I bring ...

Exporting Particle Simulations And Meshes Separately?

Hello all, I have a logo that I am trying to fill with water. The logo has many parts that are not attached to each other, so I am adding a separate particle emitter into each part. Is it possible to run each emitter one at a time and then save the simulation (and possible mesh), and then move onto ...

RealFlow 5 Quits constantly On Mac G5

Okay thanks guys...

Yeah, I hope they can fix this. I really should update my machine, just have no extra funds to do that right now.

Well I guess it is just a bug. I thought I was going mad there for a while, but when I used Realflow 4 in the past it worked no problem.

Thanks again guys.

RealFlow 5 Quits constantly On Mac G5

Hello guys, I have a strange problem. Up until now I have been using Realflow 4 on a Mac G5 PPC. Most of the time it runs pretty well. Recently I have installed the demo version of Realflow 5 to try it out. The problem I am having is that it is crashing all of the time. Also, every time I save a sce...

Maya Or Realflow For Rigid Body Simulations?

Hey guys, I have recently been asked to create a small project where various coins are coming out of a tap. I have used Maya rigid body dynamics in the past, but I have recently been very impressed with RealFlow when I used it in a different fluid simulation. I am thinking about giving RealFlow rigi...
