Re: What do we know about RF and Unreal Engine?
I have no experence with that, but i remember some blog entries of luisM. Maybe that is helpful: https://luismma.wordpress.com/2017/12/22/how-import-a-lava-fluid-simulation-from-realflow-to-unreal/ and https://luismma.wordpress.com/2016/04/09/tips-and-tricks-importing-realflow-meshes-in-unreal-engli...

Re: Dripping Paint From Brush
hi! I can't see the images, but the video link is working. "sometimes the Paint isn't sticking to brush". I do remember sth. about the "Sticky" parameter not working well with animated geometry, maybe that's the problem. I think it's even stated somewhere in the Help. I think this was solved for Dyv...

Re: Object Filled with Water and Dripping
i think he used some scripting, because as you can see the emitter with the blue particles is called "Circle01", but is emitting from a spheres surface and not from a circle. Same for Circle02 - you can even see the actual Circle-object in the background, but the particles are not coming out of the ...

Re: Leaving Next Limit
wow, that's bad news... esp. for you personally, but it's probably not a good sign that NL let you go. Thanks for your work in the past years, and also thanks for your honest opinion about RF in general... It's a nice program and i like to use it for small/medium-scale stuff, but i also had / have s...

Re: Object Filled with Water and Dripping
I would also think that an animated texture for the emission is probably the best way to emit the particles if you want to avoid scripting/graphs. Some kind of animated noise texture with white spots for the emission. The rest is to find good settings in the colliders properties for friction and the...

Re: creating spitlike slime
Hi ;) 2) Yes, it's possible: select the force field and in the same "Node" window where you set the Position/Rotation/Scale etc, there is a button "Parent to" right below the "Pivot" settings... Parent it to the alembic object, then set the Position to 0 0 0 or move it wherever you want... 1) Yes, i...

Re: Ship simulation didn't work well
i think RF can't create a correct volume from you ship geometry. You can display the volume: select the ship, go to the ships "Display" settings, unfold "Display Volume" and click on "Isosurface". How does that look? Also try the "Slice plane XY" and see if the volume matches your ship... Maybe you ...

Re: Retiming dyverso particles
hm, seems you're right... you probably would need to convert your dyverso sim to .bin files by using a Graph. I think there is an example file provided that you can choose from the "Learn" tab from the startup-window. Or via Help->Demo files. It's called "Read Write Particle files" or sth. like that...
