Re: Filling Bucket Granular Dyverso - help losing volume

thanks I will try this, as i increased resolution the sand settled quite a bit more. How would you deal with very small grains? are you rendering in 3dsmax?

Re: Filling Bucket Granular Dyverso - help losing volume

Hi Thomas, Firstly thank you for response, much appreciated! I was afraid of that. I remember having to do that with a pool of water. But it sure did not settle down to %2 of the volume like the sand. Filling a bucket with sand would take allot of particles and later would be quite a lot of polys wo...

I need an animated normal map or height map for UE4 from sim

I need an animated normal map or height map for UE4 from sim. Is this possible to get a displacement map of a pool surface? Would need to be animated. or rather generated by all the frames of the simulation

Thanks

meshing bubbles and foam for 3dsmax render?

filling a glass with soda. should the soda be on mesh, the foam be another, and the bubbles yet a third mesh? and then in max render with different materials as three separate bin loaders? Is this the way to do it? How about mist can a atmosphere gizmo be used or something?
Thanks!

How to calculate cell size for Dyverso?

I get putting a cell size on objects in scene. say .01 but this does not appear to be the Dyverso cell size. If Dyverso is set for resolution 3000 density 1000, scene scale .01 how would one calculate the cell size? Where can it be found sorry if this is a dumb question.

Meshing Bubbles and Mist use?

When meshing HY bubbles does it mesh it with water particles? Are the bubbles air holes in the mesh?
