Re: Airflow (CFD Simulation) Around Moving Objects

Realflow isn't designed for CFD sims. You could fake it, maybe, by changing the emitter display to arrows and setting the colours of the particles and setting some fields, but it'll take a lot of work to look correct so I wouldn't bother. However, Nextlimit have some CFD software called Xflow. If yo...

Re: Filling script not working

No probs. Glad it works.

For future reference, indentations are very important in Python.

Re: Filling script not working

Seems to be working ok for me.. Did you intent it correctly? emit = scene.get_PB_Emitter("Fill_Object01") minF = scene.getMinFrame() maxF = scene.getMaxFrames() for i in range( minF, maxF + 1): emit.setParameter("Fill Volume", False) emit.setParameter("Fill Volume", Tru...

Re: What change python script in 2012

Are you using the correct formatting? threshold = 2.5 water = scene.get_PB_Emitter("water") foam = scene.get_PB_Emitter("foam") particle = water.getFirstParticle() while(particle) : vel = particle.getVelocity() vel_mag = vel.module() pos = particle.getPosition() id = particle.get...

Re: Was that made with Realflow?

Hi, this is a difficult one. It's very likely Rf was used but nowadays there are a few choices when it comes to fluid software, stand alone (Rf) or built in (Houdini). There are other less known fluid apps like Glu3d. Plus, there are also in house fluid simulators like Double Negative's Squirt. Rf h...

Re: Remove isolate particles ,After Simulation

There is a script that can do this.

https://luismma.wordpress.com/2013/04/3 ... simulated/

However, I advise you to save a backup of your scene because when I ran this in the past the scene would sometimes crash and become corrupted.

Re: the way to reduce sloshing

Hi.

There are probably a few reasons this is happening.

Firstly, your density is set to 35. The default is 1000 for water. This setting is making your fluid way too light.

Also, even with your scene scale set to 0.1, in the Rf world, your glass is still 7m² .
