Weird GFD particle behavior

Hi every one, I'm trying to simulate a whale splash but I'm getting some weird behavior going on the particles, as shown in the image attached. I have to simulate the particles starting from the top of GFD (with no timeline progress) and wait for them settle down, because the whale is right undernea...

One cool way of pouring liquor

The render is very good, but the simulation looks a little bit strange at the beginning. It seems that the fluid doesn`t follow the path. Pretty good Job!!!

Congrats

Lava flow stream

Exodus,

Maybe, if you use a DSpline Dameon and incresae the Axial Strength, maybe you will reach the result.

good luck!

liquid metal to solid metal

Henrik,

I think that you don`t need to do this in the realflow. I would do that in a composition and 3d software with passes. Maybe you can model an object to be the solid piece and use the layer mask to show it. I hope you understand!

Good Luck

Looking for a couple answers

Try to increase the particle`s density value. With a higher density value, the inertia force is bigger and it makes the splashes get a long time.

There is a good course at fxphd.com

Good luck!

printing to the message window

In the RF help there is a good source about RF scripting at "Scripting Reference".

dialog = GUIMessageDialog.new()
dialog.show( ALERT_TYPE_CRITICAL, "Your message here" )

2 quick q's

If you give to us more details and a screenshot would be better to analize your scene.
