Jumpy patches of squares in the mesh

personalfx wrote: Thanks! I'll give that a go, and funny that about RFRK, the people at the "official" forums didn't tell me that, all they told me was I could develope my own plugin for C4D... too bad I'm not a programmer =/, this has been a very constructive thread, thanks guys! They were probably...

Jumpy patches of squares in the mesh

Retiming a simulation with rigid bodies issue

alex wrote: Hi again, I'm afraid you found one more bug. The PRT export should work the way you are trying, but there is a missing "wire". To get the PRT files you will need to retime the BINs and do one more pass to export the PRT files with something like: for i in range( 0, 200 ): emitter.activeE...

Jumpy patches of squares in the mesh

You don't have to use grid mesh for hybrido particles, you can export the emitter's particles as bin files and mesh them with a standard/ RFRK mesh. Also, I recommend using Frost, it can have its artifacts too but the results are quicker and smoother. Here's a comparison I did for low viscosity sim....

Retiming a simulation with rigid bodies issue

Thanks a lot for the fast reponse, I'll try that script out. I also noticed it's not possible to retime prt files. I have a sim that writes both bin files and prt files and in the retime i/o settings I also check both prt and bin files. The bin retimed files are written but not the PRT ones. Not sur...

Retiming a simulation with rigid bodies issue

Hi all, I tested realflow2012's retime features and and for liquids it works like a charm. However if you have rigid bodies in the scene too then the way it works is kinda strange.. Seems like that even if the Read animation.sd is checked and the Save animation.sd is checked too inside the inputoutp...

how can i got splashes from flying fluid created by Crowdflow plugin ?

Is it possible to make the crowdflow fluid behave like this?

From my testing crowdflow tends to look like an animated tube. Quite hard to make it keep a liquidish shape.

Realflow particles displayed as spheres with trails?

Hi. I came across this page showing how the realflow importer works in Rhino and it's shown there the particles has a display mode of spheres with trails that matches each particle velocity.. The mesh showing the velocity is also nice. http://wiki.mcneel.com/labs/realflowimporter How come it doesn't...

SoftBody cloth constraints?
