Exclusive Links

Is there any way I can get a list what exclusive links are connected to an object through coding?

I have looked, but all I can find is add and remove

Cheers

Testing Positions

w0w .. it's so broken

I don't get the crash, but I get a true result no matter what

So either I loop through all the particles and get their positions and do a manual compare for each one, at a cost of time ... or ?

Any suggestions?

Testing Positions

Well that was fast, and unexpected :) Not useful then :( Bugger.

I did check the scripting section, read the relaxation thing and just got confused I think ... but if it doesn't work at all, I will take it out and try a different way

Thank man

Testing Positions

Hey guys, writing you from work today :) I'm working on an ocean/land interface :) (beach) for a job here, and I'm using a combination of liquid particles and getWaterLine to make a wetmap. I have a n00b question .. using testPositionForParticleInsertion( x, y), I want to know if the value in y is u...

Thanks lukeiamyourfather .. or can I call you Darth for short? :D Yeah the dumbs are doing the business quite well this morning (after muchos simulation last night) so I'm thinking hard about if I really need fluids .. or if I do, about swapping them out after birth maybe ... Hopefully should be abl...

noob Vector Math Question

Thanks guys. That seems to have sorted it, now if I can only get rid of the explody particles (seems to be a feature of RF) then all will be sweet. here's the code that's doing it: def onSimulationFrame(): wave = scene.getRealwave() waterline = wave.getWaterLine("Rox2") [h]Object Colliding with RW[/...

noob Vector Math Question

Hey guys, I'm working on a spray/splash system for storm waves on rocks. I have my code and tests working to the point where I can make the RealWave surface emit only when the water is rising using getWaterLine and the positive y velocity of any given vertex. This is all cool and making me feel happ...

[HOW TO] Very Basic Realwave Question

seriphu wrote: Hey Guys, I was thinking the other night about creating splashes on a road using realwave and RW_Splash with an emitter to act as rain. Would it be more practical to use this method and just export the rain particles and rw splash particles or just go ahead and use the 3D software for...
