Can't generate any foam on the foam map from Realwave

RF 2013.

I have a realwave set up with ocean statistical spectrum. The waves look good, just how I want them. Now I want to export a foam texture, but the texture is always black with no foam (white) pixels. Is there a trick to getting foam? Do I need to use particles to generate the foam?

I agree that a higher resolution simulation will probably take care of the meshing artifacts. Did you try the RFRK mesher? It's much improved over the old mesher.

Thanks, Christian. I don't have any experience with Krakatoa so I can't compare the two. Full GI on particles/hair makes a big difference though!
