Ok I tested it and here are my results: Windows x64 - 6:23 Arch64 - 9:01 Core2Duo e6320@2.8ghz 4mb cache, 4gb DDR2-800 5-5-5-12-2T, nVidia 8800GT 512 I'm not sure but would using the trial version effect the results? I haven't purchased the full version yet. EDIT: For that sim, it was only particles...

Stability on different platforms

Is the 64bit Linux version of RealFlow any more stable than the Win64 one? Every now and then it crashes on me while simulating or building a mesh, and I'm curious because I do have Linux on the PC too.

I used Maya 8.5 Unlimited, a mia_material shader and mental ray as the renderer. ~50minutes to render (1680x1050) so the dof looked nice.

Ok I just tried the Movie as the texture. It doesn't want to animate the frames, it just stays at the first. So I tried loading from a different frame that wasn't black, and the texture looks really weird on the object. When I rotate the viewport in maya the texture moves??? Need advice. btw I did c...
