Forum software.

Hi there. We can always help moving your forum to FX community at http://thefx.org/brain/ or set up a new realflow forum in the community. That is when the xenno forum software becomes unusable here. The community itself is currently very small but we focus on FX that includes fluid simulations. It ...

ah using .bin loader now. thank god. after 20 hours of simulation. it still seems a bit vigorous tho.. i have to go away for a holiday so I will make a better simu when I come back but i will post a playblast in the next few days.

Beginner: help needed for my simulation.

Bah the realflow crashed when building mesh and when I reopened the project file the particles are gone but the .bin files are still in my folder. How do I import them back?

I tried import - > particle (single) It doesn't do a sequence for me!

Beginner: help needed for my simulation.

Hi shaun thanks. im playing with parameters now to see whats causing it. Another question, how do you test simulations effectively and not waste so much time on it? Do you have any tips for me, such as do not build mesh when testing particles? A problem is that I have mesh in the Nodes and I dont wa...

Beginner: help needed for my simulation.

Okay here is a screenshot of my new simulation.

What i changed was,
compress parameter -> 100 to 8000

resolution 60 to 70
density 1100 to 1000
int. pressure 16 to 12
viscosity 3 to 2.5

I haven't changed the parameters to what shaun exactly said but why did this happen?

Beginner: help needed for my simulation.

okay the simple simulation took about 8 hours to simulate and build mesh. It has 160k of particles at the moment, ill try what you do. The comrpess param was set to 100 so i raised it to 8k. Thanks for your input. I guess for a nice high quality simulation, i'm looking about 16 hours of simulating o...
