Re: Exporting particle data as txt
Hello bolek! I used this code on a test file, where only one Circle01 emitter is working nothing else, and the code write me this output data: 248 -0.0379498898983 0.935260474682 0.491737067699247 -0.136150225997 0.935216188431 0.474017232656246 -0.228775903583 0.935170412064 0.436915129423245 -0.3...

Re: Engineering aspects of Realflow - Basic Questions
Get the basics of what you want working before you start adding a GUI and things that require string manipulation like the root path. Then go back and work out those non-essential items. Doing things one step at a time like that will make the debugging much easier to do.

Re: Engineering aspects of Realflow - Basic Questions
1. Units /Basic question but I didn't find the right answer anywhere/ - viscosity - rigid body mass - int and ext pressure Maybe this is some virtual custom values but I hope it's not. I should use realistic values to simulate things. It would be good to know that, maybe rigid bodies mass is based ...

The description of the video on Vimeo explains the idea of the process. Do you have a specific question about the workflow?

Fill + speed only properly fills object first time?
Any changes to parameters will change how the fluid acts including how it fills an object. If you want a fail-safe way to fill an object use a script. I wrote one a while back, see the linked scene.

How much ressolution ...
There's no set rule or forumla. If it looks like it needs more then it needs more. If the simulation is taking too long it needs fewer. Finding the right balance will take some fiddling and with experience it will become easier and more intuitive.

The spam is probably a bot. I don't think registration has any human tests like CAPTCHA. The developers of the forum software discontinued it about seven years ago so that's probably not a feature that can be added here. The RealFlow forum would need to be migrated to another software. I looked into...
