wet map trouble...

i have found the wet maps to work perfectly when it comes to any primitives inside real flow, but if i import any mesh from maya ... it doesnt work, i have even tried exporting it as sd file... but still it doesnt show up ... any ideas abt the problem ?

okk i think am way too late ... but you could try Ncloth in maya ... it does these kind of things really well.

thankyou koolj ...was trying a lot of numbers infact... it seems a high surface tension is keeping the fluid together...which is cool but still it breaks from the edges ... so still in pursuit of happiness and the water going out was on purpose .. ;) i think i had increased the speed to 10... just t...

hey thankyou TuurStuyck,

am still trying out lot of numbers on the sim... trying different values ... to get the best look... any idea about waht to put for water ...i.e values for surface tension... viscocity..etc...

this is my first attempt in doing the traditional water pour... although i dont think i got the water right .. i was quite happy with my lighting ... :P

rendered in maya default renderer...
