constrain motion to a certain plane

okay with python it seems to work. #-------------------------------------------------- # Function: onSimulationBegin #-------------------------------------------------- objs = []; def onSimulationBegin(): global objs objs = scene.getObjects() #-------------------------------------------------- # Fun...

constrain motion to a certain plane

Hello, I am trying to constrain the motion of a rigid body simulation to only one plane. For example the xy-Plane so that the z-Parameter always stays at 0. I tried to write my own Daemon with the sdk but without success. Basically what I did was this: virtual void onSimulationBegin( nl::rf_sdk::Dae...

Can't compile graviton example

I am using Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition with x64 Tools installed. Yet I am not able to compile the graviton example on Win7 64bit with rf5 64bit installed. Sometimes it just skips the compilatin process othertimes it is tells me that it can't open the "rfsdk.lib". System varaibles are set...

Is it possible to create foam through interaction between 2 fluids?

based on the distance you could try something like that em1 = scene.getEmitter("Circle01") em2 = scene.getEmitter("Circle02") em3 = scene.getEmitter("Circle03") minDist = 1.2 p1 = em1.getFirstParticle() p2 = em2.getFirstParticle() while p1: pnext1 = p1.getNextParticle()...

global variable in onSimulationStep()

I think you are right. I would use the Realflow construction if I wouldn't be such a lazybone :D

global variable in onSimulationStep()

if you don't use the RF special construction. It works more like this x = 1 #-------------------------------------------------- # Function: onSimulationBegin #-------------------------------------------------- def onSimulationBegin(): global x x = 2 scene.message(str(x)) you do not make x a global v...
