Better Grid Fluid Splashes

Hi everyone - Hoping to get some help and or ideas of how I might go about getting a more refined type of splash when using the Hybrido - Grid Fluid Splash Emitter. I've read through the docs and without avail still don't seem to be able to get what I'm after. Check this link for reference --> http:...

Liquid Character

Hi.

Filling a character or object up with fluid usually proves to be quite tricky.

Maybe think about just applying an liquid shader of some sort to the character in your 3d package and sim only the dripping in RealFlow.

High Viscosity Goo...

Wondering if you had made any progress on this.

I'm doing a similar effect and am interested in finding out how you solved the "layering" or ring type of effects once the gas bubbles burst.

This is looking good, however, it does have a certain glue type feel to it. Have you though about adding foam?

Just a thought... Maybe try to create some sort of object that sits just inside the waterfall that is emitting multi-point particles in Maya ( or some other 3D package ). Use fields to give them direction and randomness. You could also use this object with some fairly simple MEL to get the particles...

How would you start this? (Ref: Dubai water show)

Not sure I'd use RealFlow for this. It's too far away to see any real detail. You could probably get away with just setting up a particle rig in Maya or some other 3D package with hardware rendered particles.

Just a thought.

Pouring Reallistic Water

How much of the bottle is going to be shown in your shot? How are you filling the bottle? Along with Luke's suggestions, you could try animating the rate of your emitter. Another solution may be to try creating a shape that is animated using keys or a baked soft-body or something that could fit just...

You may want to take a look at using Goals with nParticles in Maya.
